North Creek Designs is owned and operated by Dave and Tess Seguin.  They have enjoyed viewing and capturing nature photography throughout their lives.  Their workshop and gallery is located in North Creek, New York in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains.  The wood used for their picture frames is exclusively from Adirondack  trees and old barns.  Tess and Dave use this rough cut Adirondack lumber, and repurposed barn board in their wood shop to create rustic picture frames .  Meanwhile in their frame shop they are busy framing using their own custom cut mats, dry mounting photo art prints and assembling the finished product. The business photography equipment includes the Nikon D90 and Nikon D80 with a selection of ultra wide angle, wide angle, medium, portrait, and telephoto zoom lenses.

Dave is a retired police lieutenant.  Dave's twenty years of computer experience is put to use in the shop setting up the computers using Photoshop CS4 digital imaging software. All prints are printed on the 7 color Epson Stylus Pro 7600 wide format printer using Ultra Chrome Pigment ink.  The 7600 prints archival quality fine art prints up to 24" wide and 50' long.  These digital prints have a 70-100 year life expectancy.

Tess is a retired mortgage analyst. Tess's business and organizational skills are most valuable in customer relations, inventory and record keeping.  The barn board and rustic hemlock picture frames are all finished using her creative touch. Her love for macro, and wide-angle photography is also invaluable to the success of the business.

Dave and Tess's
aim is to provide you with the very best quality prints and frames to be enjoyed and passed on to future generations.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information, or help with any of our products.
